Death date?
[edit]This article is in the past tense already but there is no death date given yet. Come on people. =p 20 April, 2011. Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 18:44, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- His death was originally reported by Reuters, I think, but the report was just rescinded. His status is unclear at this moment. --NellieBly (talk) 19:24, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- The source being used to confirm his death actually says he alive but gravely injured - I'm reverting edits that say he's dead. GiantSnowman 19:27, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
The NYT says that he has died of his injuries, unfortunately. I'm going to re-add it. -Hit bull, win steak(Moo!) 22:09, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
- A source, a source, my bottle of soda for a source. =p Here is the Times article [1]. It says he died from complications due to severe brain trauma basically. Poor guy. The New York Times is official enough for me. Requiescat In Pace. Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 22:19, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Cause of death
[edit]From the reports I have read from various News outlets, Chris Hondros was killed by mortar fire (NOT an RPG as stated in this article) and none have specifically said Government Forces are guilty of this offence, although it may be the case. Changes anyone? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.54.143.117 (talk) 00:59, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- Don't suppose you have links to any of those handy? =) Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie Say Shalom! 06:36, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
